Texas Women's Ultimate and Women's College Centex are proud to support the Ultimate Players Association's Observer Program. Our collaboration with the UPA will be two-fold: Female Observers Clinic We are working with the UPA to run an observers clinic in conjunction with Women's College Centex. We welcome interest from both men and women, although preference will be given to females. We think that this would be a GREAT thing for women's ultimate and we hope that you will support our efforts. We see this as a tremendous opportunity to build our local ultimate scene as well as the ultimate community as a whole. Rules Experimentation We are also working with the UPA in order to give teams an opportunity to experiment with the possible rules changes for the 2009 UPA College Championship Series. Trained, experienced observers will be observing pool play games on Saturday as well as championship bracket games on Sunday. Teams will be given the opportunity to give the UPA feedback as well as prepare their players for possible upcoming changes to the rules. |
